Hot ‘n’ spicy

This has become something of a favourite in our house, I need to hide it from my son, so that it lasts. You don’t need a lot, and be warned it is hot and spicy, in a good way!!

New to kimchi - thought I'd give it a go as I've enjoyed sauerkraut for a long time. I was a little dubious of how spicy it might be (I can be quite sensitive to spices) but this is so good! Used it to top cheesey beans on toast for my first meal with it, and it gave a lovely garlicky, warming flavour. Delicious, and definitely a regular addition 😋

Kimchi newbie!

decided to try this as I'd run out of the sauerkraut I normally make(turmeric & ginger)..so have been pleasantly surprised & eaten half the jar already..
Something worth considering again.
