Where do you deliver to?

We deliver to all areas of UK, Highlands & Islands, and N Ireland

Do you ship internationally?

We do not currently ship overseas but we are reviewing how to make this happen as we receive enquiries from people living all over the world wanting to buy our products.

Which courier do you use?

We use Parcelforce and Royal Mail 24-hour service to deliver to all areas not covered by Jim, our own delivery driver.

Which days of the week do Parcelforce deliver?

Parcelforce delivers on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday each week.  A Saturday delivery incurs an extra charge of £3.99.

What areas does your own driver deliver to?

Jim, our driver, currently delivers to the following areas...

Wednesday - Scottish west coast postcodes beginning G, PH, ML, KA

Thursday - Scottish east coast postcodes beginning DD, EH, KY, FK

Do you have a physical store we can visit?

We are an online store based in Perth and deliver to all areas across the UK, although those who live nearby can collect their order from us.  We love meeting our customers so when anyone is visiting the area we invite them to come for a a tour of our operation and to meet the team.

Is your fruit and vegetables organic?

We buy all our produce from an organic wholesaler based outside Edinburgh, and a farmer based outside Perth who, although is not certified as organic, does not use any harmful chemicals on his farm.  We are unable to promote the fruit and vegetables that we sell as organic because we sell it loose and do not package and label it as such to comply with legislation.  Those who know us believe our stamp of approval to be of value because they know we work with integrity. Our word is our bond.

How can I get involved with your project?

You can help spread the word about what we do by sharing our posts on social media and telling your friends and family about us.

You can also help fund our operation by buying a gift card, and depending on the value of the card you buy, offers you extra discount off your orders which is a great hedge against inflation, and gives us additional spending power to be able to negotiate better discounts with our wholesalers which we can pass on to our customers to make our prices as competitive as possible.

What is the shopping buddy initiative?

This idea encourages our customers to place an order with a friend or family member so that they can be sent together in the one box up to a maximum weight of 30kg to help save us shipping costs.

What is your gift card initiative?

Our gift card scheme has proven to be very popular with our customers. 

Do you have a minimum order value?

There is no minimum order value but orders for mainland UK (zone 1) over £50 are delivered free of charge, and over £75 for Highlands & Islands & N Ireland (zone 2 & 3).

Is there a maximum order weight?

Orders delivered by our own driver do not have a maximum weight.  Orders delivered by Parcelforce have a maximum weight limit of 30kg per box so any orders over this weight are sent in two or more boxes depending on the total weight of the order.

Are you recruiting?

We are always on the look out for people who live within commuting distance to us to help with picking and packing our food orders, small parcels, and books.  We will continue to grow rapidly and require a reliable team of people to help us manage that and ensure all our orders leave our warehouse well packed and on time. I am interested in opening a depot in my area. Do you have plans for expansion? 

We would love to see depots across the UK.  We are currently fine tuning our strategy, our systems and our processes so we can operate at peak efficiency and then we will be in a position to replicate our business model to other areas of the country.  In the meantime, please email us at orders@goodfoodproject.co.uk with your details and we will contact you when the time is right.
