Description
Tenuta Cappellina is positioned at the warm southern tip of the Chianti Classico region, giving rise to bold and intense fruit, which is showcased in this perfectly rounded Chianti Classico Riserva. The meticulous work in the vineyards and careful selection of only the best grapes, along with 30 months of ageing in Slavonian oak barrels, has delivered a fine Chianti Riserva here with tannins ever more smooth and silky. Made from the traditional blend of 95% Sangiovese with 5% of the native variety Canaiolo, giving the perfect fresh element, an intense ruby hue opens to elegant layers of ripe red cherry, black plum and wild berries. Ripe and balanced, with a velvety tannic structure and a blend of savoury and spicy notes, this is an ideal match for a variety of dishes, from hearty pasta dishes to grilled meats and aged cheeses.
