SOAKENCY SOUND HEALING is located on the border of Cumbria and Scotland in an idyllic part of the UK.  Our treatment room is set up in an 18th Century cottage surrounded by trees, wildlife and a babbling river.

SOAKENCY was set up by Donnie, an Acutonics Practioner and Sound Therapist with a passion to help and heal those who enter her treatment room. Donnie offers treatments to both humans and pets.

The Acutonics Sound Healing method is unique in the sound therapy field for its integrated approach to holistic healing. The Acutonics system of vibrational sound therapy is rooted in traditional Chinese Medicine, psychology and science that utilises tuning forks, Tibetan Bowls, gongs, drums and other indigenous tools, connecting body, mind and soul in the journey toward optimal health. Acutonics delivers these frequencies and harmonics to the body via the Acu-Meridian System to promote harmony and balance integrating ancient healing traditions with modern medical practices.

The role of the Sound Healing practitioner is to identify where there is an imbalance and work with the body, mind, and spirit to ease it back into balance.

All Sound Healing practitioners complete their sound medicine training through the Acutonics Certification Program to ensure their mastery of this method and the highest levels of training in the applied use of sound vibration to the body.
