Steenbergs Korma Masala Curry Mix - 50G
Flavours: Pungent, Sweet
Cuisines: British, Indian
This classic is recreated from the repertoire of Moghul Indian cuisine. The Korma originated from Persia, then the Korma was developed further in the Islamic courts of the Moghul Emperors during the 16th to 19th centuries. Traditional kormas are rich dishes, using lots of expensive spices and nuts - cardamom , nutmeg , saffron and nuts - mixed into a rich sauce using yoghurt. It is based on a recipe from the kitchens of Nizam of Hyderabad from the British Colonial period.
As with all Steenbergs artisan spice blends this seasoning has been created and blended at the Steenbergs spice factory in rural North Yorkshire, Great Britain, just north of the cathedral city of Ripon. Steenbergs specialises in organic and fairly traded spices..
