Collection: Stoate's Flour Collection

No folic acid. No fortification.

N R Stoate & Sons have milled flour in Dorset for generations, the slow, traditional way on stone. Because they mill below the legal threshold, they're exempt from the rule that forces larger mills to add folic acid to their white flour. What you get is exactly what flour should be: pure, beautifully milled wheat, with nothing added and nothing fortified.

Stone milling takes more time and more care than the modern roller process, and it holds on to far more of the grain's nutrients, flavour and character. You'll notice the difference the moment you bake with it.
