They can be ground into flour to make chapattis or cooked and blended with garlic, Essential organic olive oil and tahini, lemon juice, Essential paprika, salt and sesame seeds to make a creamy, wholesome hummus. Chickpeas are a rich source of vitamins, minerals and fibre, high in protein and they make an excellent alternative to meat in vegetarian and vegan dishes.

Great alternative to canned chickpeas

I usually buy canned chickpeas, but as they were out of stock I thought I'd try these. Soak for 24 hours then boil for about 2, and ready! Perfect for making hummus.
