Essential -Prunes Pitted. Prunes are dried plums, usually of Prune d'Agen variety. Grown specifically for drying, they are low in sugar and have long been used as a natural laxative. Fruits may contain pits/ pit fragments. Fruits are prone to sugaring later in the season.
