Essential / Short Grain Brown Rice. Originating in Asia, rice is the most common staple crop on Earth. Brown rice is nutritionally superior. Rinse in cold water. Use 1 cup rice: 2 cups water. Bring to boil & simmer 40 minutes covered, serve. Brown rice retains the outer layers of the grain, only the indigestible husks having been removed.

Product good, packaging can sometimes be an issue

Love the rice and have been using it for a few years now. Unfortunately sometimes the bags split open in transit, presumably because they are only just sealed by the supplier. GFP great at refunding for damaged items so not a big deal.
