Originating in Asia, rice is the most common staple crop on Earth. Use red rice to add variety to dishes -used on its own or mixed. To cook rice perfectly: Rinse rice well and using 1 cup rice to 2 of water bring to boil & stir once. Simmer in a covered pan for 25-35 mins until all water is absorbed.
