you can tell the culture is alive when you open the jar and it bubbles for over a minute. Delicious, great quality.

I bought a couple of the jars as it’s really difficult to get organic sauerkraut. Sadly i don’t think it was happy with its journey, despite being wrapped in a plastic bag. The result was a leak of both jars which resulted in mould, the products had to be disposed of. A real shame, i was looking forward to it.
